Yael stone, a New York City Australian resident, played Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone attended NIDA. Yael was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some of Australia's most renowned storytellers. She's worked behind the scenes in television, film and theatre. Yael is a hugely accomplished career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was thrilled to discover her new home when Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue where the production premiered to critical acclaim, became the place she now calls New York City. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery is the Bushwick Brooklyn studio The Cannery encourages new and artistic writings, and are a source of inspiration for new concepts.
